The Rangers are made using a bent pole design to create a tunnel effect which produces an ultra rigid frame system. Aerodynamic and good looking designs, the breathable new Ven-Tex material and a quick erection time are only some of the key points of the new bivvies. You will get a lot for your money. The Ranger 1-man bivvy is definitively made for those anglers who like a little bit more room than more traditional designs. In reality it is a 1.5 man bivvy and as I take my dog Lisa as my bodyguard when carp fishing, the Ranger was the best option for me. A height of 1.4-metre is very comfortable and very suitable even for mature anglers who sometimes have problems with their back (like me - I am a 40 +!). If you use the wrap you have enough room for a second bedchair ? it is your decision for whom you want to use it. The construction of the Ranger bivvy makes it really stabile. I have used it in really bad conditions and I never had a problem. I really felt safe and only my Lisa would wish for a Fox bivvy which is soundproof too, because she is so afraid by the thunder. But I think we?ll have to wait for the next generation. In summary, the Ranger 1 man bivvy ticks all of the right boxes for me and I am sure that everybody will share my opinion once they have seen one for themselves.
