Shimano Baitrunner ST RB: The Ultimate Fishing Reel for Anglers

At North East Tackle Supplies, we understand the importance of having reliable and high-performance fishing gear. That's why we're excited to showcase the Shimano Baitrunner ST RB, a rear drag fishing reel that has become a favorite among anglers worldwide.

What Makes the Shimano Baitrunner ST RB Stand Out?

The Shimano Baitrunner ST RB is a versatile fishing reel that offers a range of features designed to enhance your fishing experience. One of its most notable features is the Baitrunner system, which allows fish to take line without resistance. This is particularly useful when fishing with live or cut bait, as it enables the fish to take the bait without feeling the resistance of the reel, increasing your chances of a successful catch.

Another standout feature of the Shimano Baitrunner ST RB is its durable construction. The reel is built with high-quality materials, including a graphite frame and sideplate, which provide excellent strength and rigidity. The reel also features a cold-forged aluminum spool, which is both lightweight and durable, ensuring smooth and reliable performance.

Versatility for Various Fishing Techniques

The Shimano Baitrunner ST RB is suitable for a wide range of fishing techniques, from freshwater to saltwater fishing. Whether you're targeting carp, pike, or sea bass, this reel can handle the demands of different fishing styles.

The reel is available in multiple sizes, including the popular 6000 model, which is ideal for medium to heavy fishing applications. The 6000 model has a gear ratio of 4.8:1, providing a good balance between retrieval speed and power.

Smooth and Reliable Performance

One of the hallmarks of Shimano reels is their smooth and reliable performance, and the Baitrunner ST RB is no exception. The reel features Shimano's Varispeed oscillation system, which ensures even line lay and reduces the risk of line twist and tangles.

The reel also has a rear drag system, which allows for quick and easy drag adjustments during the heat of the battle. The drag system is smooth and consistent, providing excellent control and power when fighting fish.
